Police say they received a missing persons report on June 3rd regarding a 35-year-old who had last been seen in Walkerton.
Officers have confirmed they have made contact with the missing person and they are safe. South Bruce OPP are thanking the public and the media for assisting in the search.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
The annual Canada Day parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, from Wildwood Park to Kenwick Park.
