Police complete major property crime investigation

The South Bruce OPP confirmed that they completed a major property crime investigation this week in Culross Township.

Officers closed a section of Concession 2 in Culross Township while officers conducted the investigation. Members of the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit, OPP Aviation Services, OPP Community Street Crime Unit and South Bruce OPP Major Crime Unit are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation, which is ongoing.

Police are still removing what they're calling "large quantities" of stolen property from the investigation site. More updates will be provided by police as the investigation concludes. The South Bruce OPP is asking anyone with any information regarding the investigation to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
