First ever St. Marys Pride Day to be held this weekend

The Stratford-Perth Pride group will host their first ever St. Marys Pride Day this weekend.

The event will take place Sunday, June 12th, with vendors, music, lawn games and more. It will be from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Milt Dunnell Field (The Flats) in St. Marys. The official release says the event is "open to everyone – whether you are LGBTQS2+, friends, family or a supporter." There will be events for kids, including balloons, Drag StoryTime, face painting and a colouring station. Hot dogs, chips and refreshments will be available at minimal cost.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
