Man charged in reported stabbing in Georgian Bluffs

Police are investigating a report of a stabbing that took place this past weekend in Georgian Bluffs.

Grey Bruce OPP, Owen Sound Police Service, and Grey County Paramedics responded to the incident on Grey Road 1, just after 7 p.m. on June 24.

An individual was transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the accused individuals fled the scene prior to police arrival but were later taken into custody.

Joseph Cronk-Graver, 19, from South Bruce Peninsula, faces a number of charges including; aggravated assault, assault a peace officer with a weapon, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, mischief over $5,000, failure to stop after accident, dangerous operation, flight from peace officer (two counts), theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing.

Three other teens were also charged.

A 15-year-old male from South Bruce Peninsula, a 15-year-old female from Owen Sound, and a 14-year-old female from Owen Sound each face a charges of theft of a motor vehicle and possession property obtained by crime over $5,000.

All three have been released with a future court date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
