Kincardine accepting applications to join the BIA

The municipality of Kincardine is looking for residents who want to be more involved in the community to join the Business Improvement Area (BIA) committee. 

To be considered for this position, eligible candidates will be assessed, and must be the property owner who pays the BIA levy, or their nominee. 

In the application, you must specify if you are the property owner who pays the BIA levy or a nominee of that person/corporation.

If you are a nominee of the property owner, please provide a letter from the corporation stating that you are a nominee.

All appointments are made by Council. After appointments are finalized by By-Law, the Municipal Clerk will notify all applicants, informing them of the Council’s decision.

Applications can be submitted through www.kincardine.ca until 4:00PM on July 15th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
