By-law enforcement on Bruce County trails

Bruce County has hired new by-law officers to enforce rules on local trails.

In a release from Bruce County, the contract is with James Special Services Inc., to provide enforcement services on county forest trails and the Bruce County Rail Trail.

It's in accordance with the Bruce County’s Forest Recreation By-law and by-law enforcement officers will be patrolling local trails. That includes ensuring trails are being used responsibly, and visitors are compliant with park rules. Officers will also ensure that permits regarding motorized trail use are being followed.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
