Two vehicle thefts being investigated by police

Perth County OPP are investigating two separate vehicle thefts from local businesses.

Police say that officers were dispatched to a business on Road 164 in the Municipality of North Perth on July 7th after a report of a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was taken some time on June 7th from the business parking lot. The vehicle is described as a Black 2019 Dodge Ram. The investigation is ongoing.

Also, officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter theft at a business located on Maddison Street West in the Municipality of West Perth. Sometime between July 7th and 8th, unknown suspects broke into the business, and stole money and a vehicle that was parked outside the business. The keys were locked inside the office. The vehicle is described as a White 2017 Nissan Murano, valued at approximately $26,000. The investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
