Police find one suspect vehicle related to Fergus robbery

Investigators have recovered one of the two cars believed to be involved in a robbery in Fergus, in which about $20,000 worth of cell phones were stolen.

A grey, Honda Civic hatchback believed to be involved, was found Wednesday on the east side of the town on Denny Gate, that's by the sports complex.

The other vehicle police are looking for is a light coloured, newer model Volkswagen Jetta.

The robbery was reported early Monday evening at a business on Tower Street South in Fergus. Two people armed with handguns entered the business and stole the cell phones. No one was injured during the incident.

Investigators are asking anyone that lives in the Millburn Boulevard area or near Scotland Street, Darroch Way and Denny Gate and that have surveillance cameras along the road, to please review their footage from July 18, 2022 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
