Health Unit looking for dogs involved in biting incident

Officials with the Grey Bruce Health Unit are looking for two dogs involved in a biting incident at Owen Sound's Kelso Beach Nawash Park.

A fight broke out between dogs around noon on July 17th and a man was hurt breaking it up.

Two young women were walking the dogs. They are described as a pit bull and a black dog.

Health Unit staff need to confirm the dogs are up to date on their rabies vaccines so the man can avoid post-exposure rabies treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

If you have any information related to this incident, or know the owners of the dogs in question, please contact the Grey Bruce Health Unit at 519-376-9420 ext. 1229.
