Hanover police charge motorcycle driver

Hanover Police say that a man faces a slew of charges following an investigation into dangerous driving on a motorcycle.

In a release, police say they observed a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed on June 26th while clearing a motor vehicle collision on County Road 4 in West Grey. The suspect fled, also eluding an officer in Hanover that attempted to effect an arrest at the intersection of 10th Street and 17th Avenue.

On July 21st, police observed the suspect operating a motorcycle operating in a dangerous manner on 10th Street in Hanover, including popping a wheelie in traffic.

The suspect was arrested shortly after at his residence.

A 35-year-old man from West Grey faces 28 charges, including three counts of Dangerous Operation, four counts of Failing to Comply with Probation, and three counts of Drive while under Suspension.

The accused was held in custody and later released at Bail Court on court-ordered conditions.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
