Audiences enjoying Good Ol' Country Gospel on the local stage

Singer and actor, Jesse Grandmont, says the current production at the South Huron Stage in Grand Bend is exactly as advertised and audiences are loving it.

Grandmont says Good Ol' Country Gospel is a review.

"It's not really a story, it's just a great presentation of the music and of course the music is old time country gospel music. So all those old classic hymns as well as some old time country tunes from great country artists like Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash,” he explained.

Grandmont says they do some numbers that have stories, but they're not actually playing a character. In fact, they tell stories about their lives and their connection to the music.

Good Ol' Country Gospel is at the South Huron Stage in Grand Bend until August 6th and then moved to the Drayton Festival Theatre from August 11th to the 28th.
