Kincardine sifts through information about CAO hiring

Kincardine council held a special, closed meeting Wednesday to discuss the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) recruitment process.

Mayor, Gerry Glover, says their main motivation for the special meeting is to gather recommendations from staff.

“We’ll take the recommendations from the CAO recruitment committee who met about a week ago to bring them to council to understand the direction we need to go. Whether that’s going back to the CAO recruitment process and start this whole thing over again, or we look at our second [choice].”

The town resumed the search for a new CAO following their decision to rescind the employment agreement of David Henderson.

Glover expects a release regarding their decision to be sent out to inform the public in the next two weeks.
