Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race returns

The Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race is returning next weekend after a two-year hiatus.
The race at Bluewater Park in Wiarton begins on Saturday, August 6th, and will feature canoes and kayaks traversing a secret racecourse in Colpoy's Bay that has three distance available: The Long Course (100km), the Suntrail Course (25km), and the Kid's race.
The race is organized by former Team Canada Adventure Captain Bob Miller, who currently lives in the nearby Town of Blue Mountains.
Organizers say they are still seeking some volunteers. Those interested in learning more on their website.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
