Teenager killed in fatal crash near Goderich

Police have identified an 18-year-old from Goderich as the victim who passed away after a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night.

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services, and the Goderich Fire Department responded to the collision on Golf Course Road west of Lucknow Line at approximately 11:50 p.m.

First responders reported "a heavily damaged compact vehicle that left the roadway and ended up in field on the north side of the road," when they arrived on scene.

The OPP said that there were five occupants in the vehicle, all of which were transported to hospital.

Four individuals were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the fifth succumbed to his injuries.

Police identified the deceased as 18-year-old Euan Muir.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
