Police searching for driver involved in hit-and-run with youth cyclist

Perth County OPP are searching for a driver that struck a young cyclist and sped off.

On August 5th just after 7 p.m., police responded to a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist on Line 75 in the Municipality of North Perth. The investigation indicated that the vehicle collided with the pedestrian. A small grey SUV vehicle was observed speeding off. The young cyclist, a 12-year-old, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any relevant information regarding the incident should call Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
