Teen charged with arson

Police have charged a 19-year-old with arson after multiple reports of fires being set in Mount Forest.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 29, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from Wellington County responded to several reports of a person setting fire to outdoor rental toilets at Lion's Head Park. Police said that, according to the description, they had reports of the same person trying to set other objects ablaze throughout the area.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 19-year-old male from Wellington North Township.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Guelph.
