Canadian Blood Services hosting another local donation event in hopes of building needed supply

Canadian Blood Services is hosting another local blood donation event to hopefully build up more supply.

In the midst of their lowest donor base in a decade, Canadian Blood Services is hoping more old and new donors come out to another scheduled donation event in Mount Forest. This event will be held Tuesday, September 6th at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. They are accepting donations by appointment only, and you can book one by visiting Blood.ca or calling 1-888-2-DONATE.

Due to the pandemic, Canadian Blood Services say they have lost up to 31,000 regular donors and now have very limited supply of life-saving blood.
