Bruce County Museum offering free admission to Kincardine residents

Today, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, all Kincardine residents and ratepayers will receive free admission to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre as part of Kincardine Community Days. 

This is the first of two Kincardine Community Days this year and residents are invited to visit the Museum’s summer exhibits - Sonic Sensations and Spirit Seeds: A Celebration of Indigenous Beadwork - as well as the many permanent exhibits. 

Residents who are interested in attending are asked to register online, or show proof of residency at time of entry.

A second Kincardine Community Day will be hosted at the BCM&CC on Saturday, October 22nd.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
