Hindu culture open house today in Kincardine

Residents of Grey and Bruce counties are invited to learn and celebrate the Hindu culture at a community open house on Saturday, August 13th, in Kincardine.

The event is being hosted on behalf of the Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre, Municipality of Kincardine, Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce, and Grey Bruce Local Immigration Partnership (GBLIP).

Everyone is welcome at the free event which runs from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Victoria Park in Kincardine.

The open house will allow the community to experience, celebrate, and learn more about Hindu culture and traditions. Participants can take part in Yoga and enjoy traditional Hindu food, music and dancing.

"Bruce County is an exciting place to live and work. Our GBLIP program is attracting new residents from diverse backgrounds and is doing a wonderful job at highlighting multicultural activities in our region," said Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson.
