Goderich Celebrity Hockey Game rescheduled

A new date has been set for a Benefit Celebrity Hockey Game between Goderich Firefighters and former NHL hockey heroes. This game was originally scheduled in January 2022 but it has now been officially rescheduled for Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Maitland Recreation Centre in Goderich

The game is in support of Huron Residential Hospice. A media release pointed out that for more than 29 years, families have turned to Huron Hospice for support at the end-of-life. Huron Hospice provides community-based hospice palliative care and hospice-residence- based care for people with life-limiting illnesses. Huron Hospice also provides loss and grief support for adults and youth. Since opening in 2018, Huron Hospice has made moments matter for more than 100 families at Bender House, and for 280 families in the community. There are no costs for any of these services.
