Crash that claimed one man's life under police investigation

A crash that claimed the life of a man in South Bruce is under investigation.

On August 16th, the South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services and South Bruce Fire Department all responded to a crash that occurred at the intersection of Concession Road 10 and Bruce Road 4 just after 7 a.m. The collision involved an SUV and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Wayne Fischer of Bluevale. Police are now investigating the cause of the crash.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
