Pedestrian hit by vehicle luckily suffers non-life-threatening injuries

A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle near Meaford luckily only suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, August 24th, officers from the Grey Bruce OPP, Meaford Fire Department, and Grey County EMS responded to a reported crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle near Sideroad 4 and Foster Street in the Municipality of Meaford. The pedestrian was taken immediately to a local hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening. Police continue to investigate the circumstances that caused the collision.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
