UPDATE: Crash closes part of Highway 7/8 in Perth County

Part of Highway 7/8 in Perth County is open again after a crash late Friday afternoon.

Police confirmed via Twitter at around 4:15 p.m. that Highway 7/8 was closed in both directions due to a crash.

The closure was between Forest Road and Road 109 near Stratford. The crash reportedly involved a vehicle and a cyclist. Police say one person was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
