Crime Stoppers Guelph-Wellington hosting community shredding event

Crime Stoppers of Guelph-Wellington is hosting a community shredding event in Mount Forest.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 9 a.m. until noon at the Mount Forest Fire Department on Main Street. Mobile shredding services will be provided on-site by Wasteco. Residents can bring any papers they need to dispose of and have them shredded for $5 a box.

If you can't make the event in Mount Forest, a second one will be held in Guelph on Saturday, September 24th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Skyjack on Woodlawn Road.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
