HPHA moving COVID-19 Assessment Centre to Stratford Medical Centre

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is relocating their COVID-19 Assessment Centre.

A release from the HPHA states that their COVID-19 Assessment Centre, which is currently located at the Stratford Rotary Complex, will be moved to the Stratford Medical Centre and Stratford Family Health Team office at 444 Douro St. This move will be facilitated on September 7th. The COVID-19 Assessment Centre will maintain their current hours at the new location. Those hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Physician Assessment, and Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for COVID-19 testing.

The COVID-19 Assessment Centre had been operating out of the Rotary Complex since November 2nd, 2020 and since that time has provided service for more than 43,000 individuals.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
