All Aboard Palmerston announces annual September Tiny Trains Event

A popular local event is returning to the railway tracks this month.

The All Aboard Palmerston Committee has announced the date of their annual September Tiny Trains Event, which will be held this year on Saturday, September 24th. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Old 81 Engine, located at the entrance to the Palmerston Lions Heritage Park.

This year features a Tiny Trains Travel the Town event, where kids and adults of all ages can receive railway worker bandanas and maps to “chug” along to a variety of “train stops”, including the Library, the Railway Museum, the EarlyON Centre and several of the “Trendy Train” locations.

“It’s an amazing fun and free event, meant to be enjoyed by children and parents alike,” said All Aboard Palmerston Events Committee Member, Connie Robinson.
