Cyclist dies after collision with car

South Bruce OPP are reminding motorists the importance of sharing the road, following a recent collision with a cyclist. 

Close to 9:00pm Friday, police were notified of a vehicle collision along Highway 21 in Kincardine Township.

Officers responded with members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and found a pick-up truck and a bicycle were involved in the collision.

The cyclist was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages.
