Police say the collision happened on September 9th around 11:40 p.m. on Grey County Road 29.
The driver was taken to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The driver has now been identified as 45-year-old Garnet Walker of Collingwood.
The investigation into the collision continues.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
