Wellington OPP search for stolen pick-up; person of interest

Wellington OPP are looking for a person of interest in the theft of a pick-up truck from a business in Mount Forest.

In a release police say they were told around 2 a.m. Wednesday that someone had tried to steal a vehicle from a business on Industrial Drive. The suspect then allegedly went to a second business and took the truck.

It's described as a red 2016 diesel crew cab Chevrolet Silverado with "1138483 LTD" in bold black lettering on the front quarter panels.

The person of interest was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, beige jacket, and camouflage pants with a black backpack.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
