Break-in and local mischief incidents being investigated by police

Two separate incidents in North Perth are being investigated by Perth County OPP.

Police say a break-and-enter theft occurred at a vacant property on Line 88 sometime between the night of September 29th and October 1st. Officers say they were made aware that unknown suspects stole a black 1978 Ford F150 and a firearm from the property. Then, just after noon on October 1st, police were called about a mischief incident at a school in Listowel. Sometime between the evening of September 30th and October 1st, unknown suspects removed a number of trees from the front of the school property.

Members of the Perth County OPP are continuing to investigate and officers are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
