A collision near Chatsworth claimed the life of a motorcycle driver.

Grey Bruce OPP say they were called to a collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle on Highway 6 around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Grey Bruce Paramedics and Chatsworth Fire Department tried to revive the victim but they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim is being withheld while next of kin are notified.

Highway 6 from Grey Road 40 to Walker Sideroad was closed overnight while police investigated.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
