Rodenticide laced meat found in Mount Forest

Wellington County OPP are warning pet owners to watch for hazards that could injure their furry friends.

OPP were called late last week after it was reported number of pieces of meat that had been laced with what looked like Rodenticide were located in Mount Forest.

Offers responded to the suspicious item occurrence on Main Street South Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Police are also reminding residents who use products like rodenticide to use all precautions suggested by the manufacturer.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
