Police seeking hit and run driver who hit pedestrian

Provincial police are looking for a driver who took off after hitting a pedestrian in Clinton.

Huron OPP say the incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. on October 14  on Huron Road, just west of Erie Street North, in Clinton. 

Officials say when first responders arrived, they found an injured 67-year-old man. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police believe the suspect vehicle may be a grey Toyota Sienna minivan with a missing passenger side mirror. 

Investigators are asking the driver/owner of this suspect vehicle to contact police as soon as possible.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
