2022 Municipal election preview: Chatsworth

The township of Chatsworth has two people running for mayor in this year's municipal election.

Incumbent Scott Mackey is seeking a second term of mayor; he was acclaimed as mayor in 2018 following one term as Chatsworth's deputy mayor.

Mackey is being challenged for the mayorship by Kent Nuhn.

Both candidates declined the opportunity for an interview.

Chatsworth has three councillor seats available and all three were acclaimed.

The final day to vote in this year's municipal elections is Monday, October 24th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
