High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

South Bruce OPP seized more than $192,000 in drugs including meth and fentanyl.
Early Thursday morning, OPP tweeted that they were executing a search warrant at a location in Brockton and had arrested two people.
Friday, police released more details saying they also seized a hand gun and three replica guns. Over $12,000 of property was also taken as part of the raid.
South Bruce OPP were assisted by the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Community Street Crime Unit.
No word on what charges were laid.
