Police investigate copper wire theft from new builds in Atwood

Perth County OPP are investigating break-ins at two new builds in Atwood.

In a release, police said they were called about the break-ins on October 24th. Sometime between 4:30 p.m. October 21st and 10:20 a.m. October 24th, suspects entered the homes and stripped copper wires from the properties.

Police are reminding everyone to keep vehicles and buildings locked and report any suspicious activity immediately. They also recommend installing security features like more lighting, cameras, or alarms.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
