Break-in at Hydro One supply yard results in arrest

A recent break-in at a Hydro One supply yard resulted in the arrest of a North Perth resident.

Perth County OPP responded to a report of an unknown person inside of a gated Hydro One supply yard along Bright Street East in Listowel on November 4 at 7:42 p.m. Officers arrived on-scene and police say one man was arrested at the scene. A 24-year-old from North Perth has been charged with break-and-enter, mischief, fail to comply with probation order and possession of break-in instruments.

Police continue to investigate, and want anyone who may have witnessed this crime, or has any information relevant to it, to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
