OPP investigate 100K theft in Goderich

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a break-in in Goderich where the thieves took more than $100,000.

Police believe the break-in at a house on Blake Street was sometime overnight between November 11 and November 12.

The suspects forced their way into the home while the resident was away.

The money was mainly in $50 and $100 bills.

In addition to the Huron County OPP, the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit and West Region Forensic Identifications Unit are investigating.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
