County begins intake for latest Starter Company Plus program

Huron County is accepting applications for the fall and winter Starter Company Plus program.

The aim of the program is to provide business training, mentorship, and coaching with a chance to earn a grant of up to $5,000 for participants to start, expand or buy a small business. Enrolment for this round of the program will close on November 30 at 4 p.m. Approval for the program is a competitive process, with a brief interview following an application. Following that, successful applicants will be notified no later than December 9 with the program running from January to March of 2023.
