Fatal farm incident being investigated by police

A farm fatality is being investigated by Perth County OPP.

On November 10 just before 5 p.m., police, paramedics, and firefighters responded to a report of an incident involving a farm tractor at an address on Perth Line 43 in the Township of Perth East. Police determined that the victim was working on one tractor when another tractor rolled back against the other. An 88-year-old male suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police continue to investigate this incident, and the Ministry of Labour has been notified.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
