Police hoping to identify two suspects in recent shoplifting incident

A shoplifting incident at a local business is being investigated and police are hoping the public can help catch the culprits.

On November 9 just after 4:30 p.m., a Listowel business on Wallace Avenue was the victim of a shoplifting incident involving two suspects.

The business contacted police two days later after watching surveillance footage. One of the suspects is described as female, tanned skin, approximately 6'2" tall with brown hair, Spanish speaking and wearing a black top/jacket and orange/brown skirt.

The second suspect is described as female, tanned skin, approximately 5'5" tall, medium build with brown hair and wearing a beige coloured tracksuit.

Police are asking anyone who may be able to identify either suspect to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
