Head-on collision south of Lucknow sends two to hospital

A head-on collision south of Lucknow sent two drivers to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

Huron County OPP say a pickup truck and an SUV collided just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Lucknow Line between Zion Road and Canning Street.

Huron County Paramedic Services and South Bruce Fire Department responded and found both drivers were still in their vehicles.

The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation.

Lucknow Line was closed for much of the night and reopened around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information on the collision is urged to call Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
