Police make arrests after responding to break-and-enter

Hanover Police Service arrested three people after officers responded to a break-and-enter.

On November 18 at 3 a.m., Hanover Police Service responded alongside West Grey Police Service to a break-and-enter in progress at a commercial property on County Road 28 in Hanover. Officers located and arrested three males, and recovered stolen property and break-in tools. A 36-year-old male, a 51-year-old male and a 56-year-old male, all from Hanover, are facing multiple charges including break-and-enter theft, mischief, and possession of break-in instruments.

All three suspects remain in police custody at this time. Police are thanking a witness who saw the crime in progress and immediately called police.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
