Sauble Beach Library renovations planned

Renovations will close Bruce County Public Library’s Sauble Beach Branch for a several weeks.

The work begins on November 24 and should be complete by December 14.

The makeover will include new flooring, shelving, furniture, and a brand-new paint job.

The Sauble Beach book return will not be available, but the library will waive any overdue fines during the closure.

People can visit the Wiarton branch at 578 Brown St., or check out the library's online resources, including thousands of titles in eBook and eAudiobooks available through the Libby app.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
