Stratford man accused of 3-D printing guns

A 23-year-old Stratford man is accused of using a 3-D printer to make firearms.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Stratford Police Service said officers executed a search warrant a home in Stratford on Monday, November 21.

Police said they found a handgun and ammunition.

They also found several plastic firearms and plastic parts for firearms.

A 3-D printer was used to make the guns and parts.

The suspect faces several weapons charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
