Georgian Bluffs extends nominations for Volunteer Awards

The deadline to get your nominations in for Georgian Bluffs’ annual Volunteer Awards has been extended to December 31, 2022.

People can nominate candidates in three categories; Youth Volunteer of the Year, Senior Volunteer of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

The municipality says volunteers are an essential part of the community, supporting everything from sports and recreation, to community organizations and service groups.

A nomination is a way to show appreciation for the hard work of a dedicated volunteer who donates time and effort to making Georgian bluffs a better place to live. Awards will be presented to the recipients at an upcoming Council meeting.
