One dead following 'disturbance' in Wellington County

One person is dead following a reported disturbance in Wellington County.

Police said at about 10:15 p.m. on November 26, Wellington County OPP responded to an address on Concession 7, near Kenilworth, due to a reported “disturbance” at a residence there. 

A large police presence was in the area and a local road was closed until approximately 9:00 a.m. the following day. 

A person in their 40s was pronounced deceased at scene and the Office of the Chief Coroner is investigating.

Police said this incident is an isolated incident.
