The Grey Bruce Hospice Chapman House is receiving a generous donation from a former local politician.
Former Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker will be making a cheque presentation to the hospice for more than $40,000. When Walker retired from politics earlier this year, in lieu of gifts, he asked that his friends and colleagues donate to the hospice. Walker's donation will be going toward the Grey Bruce Hospice's annual year-end campaign, in celebration of its "Home at Chapman House" initiative.
