Police looking for truck involved in pedestrian hit-and-run

The Owen Sound Police Service is looking for a red pick-up that struck a pedestrian and sped off.

Police say a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 10th Street West and 4th Avenue West on December 13 at approximately 3:15 p.m. The vehicle is described as a red pick-up that was travelling southbound on 4th Avenue when it stopped at a stop sign, and began turning right onto 10th Street. As the truck turned, it struck the pedestrian who was crossing the street, and then sped off. The pedestrian only suffered minor injuries, but police want to speak to the driver of the truck.

If you witnessed this pedestrian hit-and-run or are the driver, or have any information regarding this incident, contact the Owen Sound Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
