Deadline looms for restaurants to join Savour Owen Sound

Restaurants have a few more days to sign up for the 10th Anniversary Savour Owen Sound event.

The award-winning event promotes local eateries throughout the month of March.

Owners or operators of restaurants, cafés, and bakeries within 20 kilometres of Owen Sound can sign up, but the last day to do that is Friday.

Last year, 27 restaurants participated in a curbside event due to the pandemic.

This year, Savour Owen Sound returns to a dine-in format. Diners can vote online for their favourite Savour Owen sound meal.

At the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TAIO) 2021 Ontario Tourism Summit in Ottawa on October 27, the Ontario Tourism Resiliency Winter Collaboration Award was awarded to Owen Sound Tourism for Savour Owen Sound .
